ArcSDE for Oracle 11g is an Oracle geodatabase object schema update and editing patch. It resolves a critical issue where users are unable to create new feature classes or modify their existing schema on Oracle geodatabases that have existed at 10.0 at some point: Oracle geodatabases that were upgraded from a previous release to ArcGIS 10.0, or Oracle geodatabases created with the ArcGIS 10.0 release.
